WATCH: Cowboys Ex Randy Gregory Suspended by NFL
The Broncos’ Randy Gregory, a Cowboys ex, was seen throwing punches at Obay Aboushi, Rams guard, just minutes after the Rams blowout win.
The Los Angeles Rams embarrassed the Denver Broncos on national television on Christmas night to the tune of a 51-14 defeat. The Broncos didn’t have a lot of luck, especially at the quarterback position where Russell Wilson threw three interceptions.
Former Cowboys defense end Randy Gregory was in the wrong side after bolting in Dallas from the “toxic fanbase” to Denver in a last minute free agency flip in April. He apparently didn’t take the loss very well …
As the situation got a little more… “toxic. ”
Gregory was spotted throwing punches at Oday Aboushi, Rams guard, just minutes after Sunday’s final whistle ..
The altercation spilled into the postgame interview with Tracy Wolfson of CBS Sports and Baker Mayfield, the winning quarterback. Bobby Wagner,
Rams’ linebacker, was also seen in the video chatting with Gregory before the punch.
The Broncos entered the game as the league’s top-three defense, but suffered their worst loss of the season.
Gregory was used sparingly in the game, playing only 11 defensive snaps, and registered two tackles. On the season, Gregory has appeared in six games, starting three, with 12 tackles, two sacks, and seven quarterback hits. He has also forced two fumbles. … but his Broncos are 4-11.
Gregory will not be required to be on the field for the next Broncos game. The NFL has already suspended him for (another) of these silly on-field actions.
